This is actually his voice, narrating the new promotional video for his book Inherent Vice. It sounds like a lofty beach read but according to Papermag, it is just too well-written to be taken so lightly. We love the quote from Papermag’s review: “Inherent Vice is the book you take outside along with a cool drink and as suggested in the above clip: ‘Take a hit or two off your favorite brand of cigarette.’”
We’ll be doing this before the summer ends for sure ;)
